First up is a 5” square card featuring Impressionistic Flower stencil and die sets paired with the Nature in Bloom background stamp.
Instead of inking the stencil layers solid, I wanted to stretch it and get some variation for a softer dimensional look. Three gradient colours of cherry blossom crisp dye inks were ink blended through the stencil layers then die cut out with the matching die. The sentiment is also part of the die set and it was die cut from back glossy paper
Stamped the Nature in Blooms background with a dark gray dye ink on Bristol paper next then adhered the cutout flower. Splattered with diluted white gouache paint for some texture. Mounted it onto a white card base and added the sentiment to finish.
My second card features the Flower Bunny dies and the EZ Strips Mom. The bunny and flower pieces were die cut from X-Press It paper then coloured with Copic Sketch markers Once again I did more “stretching” and created daisies with the flower dies. I was about to cut a sentiment from the EZ strip panel, but the panel is A2 size, and I thought it would make a fun text background for the bunny. To help the bunny stand out better, a rounded heart was die cut from vellum and the backside coloured with a BG34 Copic marker. Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.
