Hello there. Christmas in July has passed and now onto spooky season, or aka Halloween! 😉 Had a fun idea to capture the Monsters Close Up from Whimsy Stamps (WS) in jars on a shelf. To fit all four of them on the card, I made a basic Z-fold card in A6 size. The front of the card (when closed) was inspired by the Twilight series. Are you team Edward?... or team Jacob? 🤔
... or team Neither? 😂 Here's the card expanded.
The monster images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It paper, coloured with Copic Sketch markers then die cut out with the Atlas Mason Jar. Because they were be in glass jars, reflection marks were added to them with a white Posca pen and then quickly smudging/smearing with my fingers while still wet.
Copic markers used:
vampire "Edward" - C00/0/1/3/5, R14/29 .
Frankie - YG01/03/07/09, G09,
mummy - Y15, YR07, W1/3/5/7, E02
werewolf "Jacob" - E70/71/74/79/49, B21
To shoe more of their faces in the jar, partial die cutting of the window opening was done. The silver lids were die cut from X-Press It paper and coloured with C2/4/6/8 Copic Sketch markers. The webs were die cut from white while the spiders and alphabet letters for the custom greeting were die cut from black. Highlights were added to the letters with a white gelly roll pen, giving it a shiny effect.
Kraft paper was die cut with the Fence die then ink blended with Gathered Twigs distress ink on the underside to create the shelf. The card base is dark gray cardstock trimmed to 6.25x9-inches. Before folding into a z-fold, Unicorn white pigment ink was ink blended over a Giraffe stencil for a cobblestone wall. Next, valley fold the stencilled side in half at 4.5" then mountain fold the front flap back in half at 2,25". Assembled the card to finish.
