On a stitched rectangle panel die cut from X-press It cardstock, stamped the owl with Copic friendly black ink. Stamped the balloons starting with the middle one and masking each one. Masked the owl next then blended Mustard Seed distress ink through a Sunshine stencil for the background.
Removed masks and coloured the images with Copics. Drew in the strings with a Copic multiliner and a ruler. Black heat embossed the sentiment from the same set with clear glitter embossing powder. Added Wink of Stella clear shimmer and white gel pen highlights to the balloons to finish.
And that was it. Thank you for visiting. Have a happy holiday!

Such an adorable card!!
Another super cute card Trina. Love the sun burst behind the owl. Great colouring, as always! xx
The balloons are fabulous - a real sense of three dimension, and I love the shine on them. Great sun burst behind them.
Aaahhh, such a sweet owl with balloons design, Trina. I love how you masked and then added the sun burst stenciling behind your images. TFS and Merry Christmas. Hugs..Nancy

I've really enjoyed your owls, Trina! I love this one with his colorful balloon bouquet and the subtle, sunny background!
This is sooo cute, Trina! Love the way you stamped the owl (tilted) and gave him the balloons! Now I know how pretty the black sentiment with clear glitter embossing is IRL. :-)
