CAS Christmas February Reminder - Peace

Hello there.  This is the reminder post for this month's Peace challenge at CAS Christmas.

Here's my CAS card.

The Evergreen Circle was die cut in the bottom right corner of a Bristol stitched rectangle panel that was from my stash.  To give the die cut trees dimension, two more Evergreen Circles were die cut and stacked, then the bottom trimmed for a straight bottom edge.  Stacked those trees onto the first die cut trees and added clear shimmer on the trees for some sparkle.

A circle slightly larger than the Evergreen Circle was die cut next from Whisper White cardstock and blue ink was sponged onto it.  The sentiment was stamped with the same blue ink then heat embossed with clear glitter embossing powder.  Although this is a dye ink, it remains wet long enough to allow heat embossing.  Popped the panel up with foam tape onto a white card base, then added a couple of snowflake sequins to finish.

We are joined by Linda of Scrappin', Stampin' and Singin' as our guest this month.  For some fabulous inspirations from Linda and my team, head over to the challenge blog HERE.  The challenge ends in a week on February 24...  hope you will join us.  Thank you for stopping by.

Trina, this is so pretty. Love the blues that you used and how you popped the trees for dimension. Hope you have a great week.

This is one CAS beauty Trina. The two tones of blue sponging are so perfectly dosed and the vibrant sentiment brings so much balance. Your dimensional trees with the shimmer finish are definitely the focal point. The popped up frame with the circle aperture bring our eyes to that peaceful place. So smart!
Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
