CAS Christmas April Reminder - Elf

Hi there!  This is the reminder post for CAS Christmas Elf challenge.

For some reason I struggled with the design on this super easy CAS card.

The elf was stamped with Copic friendly black ink on X-press It cardstock, coloured with Copics then die cut out with the coordinating die.  On a Whisper White stitched rectangle panel, the sentiment was stamped first in black then again with VersaMark ink.  Stamped the checkmark from the same set with Lucky Clover distress oxide ink before it was all heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

For some dimension, the elf was mounted with black fun foam and the stitched rectangle panel was stacked with two diecut black panels.  Adhered the panel onto a Certainly Celery (retired) card base to finish.

Our wonderful guest this month is joAnn of Crafty Nana's Blog.  The challenge closes in one week on April 24, and if you need more inspirations, head on over to the blog HERE.  Thank you for stopping by.

An adorable elf, Trina! CAS is not always easy! It's hard have an interesting card with a small design, but you have mastered it! Love the celery base!

Ohhh, cute and pretty at the same time! Pretty because I just love that soft shade of green. The tiny elf with the check list is adorable! Your struggle produced a fantastic card, Trina!

Sometimes simple is harder than it looks. You made this adorable. The elf is so cute and then there is the choice - which am I? I love the card and prefer not to answer!

I know exactly what you mean, but really your card is amazing, so the design worked out beautifully! I think your card base is a nice touch to keeping it clean and simple but adding some color! Heart Hugs, Colleen
