CAS Christmas Challenge June Reminder - Bells

Hello there.  This is the reminder post for the June Bells challenge at CAS Christmas.

I used new unused (NBUS) Heavenly Bells die from Creative Expressions to create this.

I haven’t done a white and kraft card in a while, and thought this intricate die would suit it.  Started by die cutting Kraft cardstock with an A2 Stitched Rectangle Set 1 die from My Favorite Things.  The sentiment from Jane’s Doodles Winter Village was then heat embossed with white embossing powder on it.

The Heavenly Bells and circle frame were die cut from Bristol paper.  The frame was created using two sizes of circle dies from Memory Box Circle Basics.  Took the larger circle die and die cut a circle from vellum as well as the portion of the Heavenly Bells cut-out containing the bells.  Stacked them and assembled the card onto a white card base.  Added clear shimmer on the vellum peeking through the bells to finish (difficult to see the sparkle in the photo).

The challenge ends on June 24 PST, so there is still plenty of time to join us!  Need more inspirations?  Check out what the design team has created HERE.  Thank you for visiting.  Have a wonderful day.

Beautiful Christmas card, Trina! I love how your white die cut bells pop on the Kraft background and the clever way you added vellum to the design...great idea to add clear shimmer, too!

Fabulous greeting! Love the classic white + kraft colour palette, stitched dies, timeless design - every last element.

Plus, this is a great reminder to us all that we've got little more than six months to go until Christmas. They'll whip by in a flash, no doubt, so the sooner we can start on our holiday cards, the merrier!

I love your non-traditional Christmas color card, Trina! The white bells look so fresh! The shimmery vellum backing is a great idea. The contrast between the intricate die-cut design in the circle window and the solid color panel around the window is effective and wonderful!
