CAS Christmas June Challenge - Bells

Hello there.  It's the third of the month, which means a new challenge at CAS Christmas is live.  This month the theme is Bells.

I thought I had a Silver Bells sentiment, but I can’t find it or I dreamt it up. 😂  But that was the colour inspiration for my bell.  Here’s my card.

The bell image from Reverse Confetti Joys of the Season was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a scrap of X-Press It cardstock and coloured with Copic markers (B63, B66, B69, C00, C1, C3. 00).  Clear shimmer was added on the ribbon for some sparkle then it was fussy cut out.

The sentiment (NBUS and already discontinued) and pine branches from Memory Box Antique Pine Label were die cut from silver metallic cardstock.  To make the sentiment stand out, gave it a shadow that matched, so the sentiment was die cut again from a scrap of X-Press It cardstock and coloured with the darkest blue B69 Copic marker.  Assembled onto a white stitched panel from my stash to finish.

Our design team has grown, so head on over to the challenge post HERE to meet our new members and see lots of inspirations from them and our guest LeeAnne (Wee Inklings).  The challenge ends on June 24 PST.  Hope to see you link up in the gallery.  Thank you for dropping by.  Have a wonderful week.

Well Jingle works perfectly with your bells as well Trina - I hate when I think (or know) I have a stamp but cannot find it! It often ends up being in an obscure stamp set buried in a drawer that I sometimes come across months later! Your bell is beautifully colored with it's blue bow and layered over the silver pine. xx

Lovely, lovely card Trina! Your Copic coloring and shading are fabulous...your bell totally looks real! And I too hear ya about thinking you have a certain stamp (or die) but can't find it...until of course when you don't need it anymore! Haha!! But anyway, beautiful card...love it!! :0)

Oh My...Love your blues and grey on white color combo, Trina. Your fussy cut shiny ribbon and bell are so beautiful over your die cut pine needles. Adding the blue die cut shadow really made your sentiment pop too. TFS your beauty, my friend. TFS Love and Hugs..Nancy

I love your Blue World, Trina! Fantastic job of Copics coloring! Your bell looks silver metallic and the ribbon looks 3D. The color-matching blue shadow of the die-cut sentiment is so effective and pretty. I'm so happy to be back on the same Design Team with you! :-)

I just love silver and royal blue together ~ such a perfect choice for silver bells, Trina, even if you couldn't find your silver bells sediment! I love the way you cut a silver evergreen and double-layered your jingle all the way sediment! Keep staying safe and thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
