Magic of Christmas

Hello there.  Popping in quickly to share a Christmas card.

An A2 panel was die cut from Bristol paper using Wrapped Stitch Rectangle die from Memory Box.  Hand cut a snowy ground mask and die cut a circle moon mask from masking paper and adhered them to the panel.  Ink blended turquoise dye ink (retired) and Chipped Sapphire distress ink for the sky.  Loosely covered the bottom 2/3 of the panel with a paper towel and splattered white gouache paint for the stars.

Removed the moon mask and added texture to it with a T0 gray Copic Sketch marker.  The trees from Inkadinkado Woodland Wonderland were stamped with Sapphire dye ink from Altenew.  Removed the ground mask and black heat embossed the sentiment from My Favorite Things Butty Holiday Wishes.  The Santa sleigh from Memory Box Cabin Snowglobe was die cut from a black scrap.  Spritz the entire panel with a sparkle spray for some shimmer.  Used a white gel pen to add shining rays to a few stars and give texture to the snowy ground to finish.

Easy-peas you.  Thank you for joining me today.  Enjoy your day.

What a serene, deeply lovely holiday season greeting. No matter how old I get, I always believe in the magic of the holiday season (and secretly like to think that maybe, just maybe, Santa could really be real - you just never know!).
