Let It Snow

Hello there.  It’s the last day of February and I finally found my new/unused Let It Snow die from Lawn Fawn just in time to squeak in under the wire for some challenges.  This was super quick and easy.

The background is from my all-time favourite Blurry Flurries paper pack by Whimsy Stamps.  It was die cut with new/unused Blanket Stitched Rectangle die from Pinkfresh Studio to give it a decorative border.

The sentiment was die cut twice; once from a scrap of glossy white paper and the other from black cardstock to offset for a drop shadow.  Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.

Did I mention this was super quick? 😉  Thank you for stopping by.

Wonderful use of the beautiful design paper for a quick card, Trina! The black drop shadow is effective, especially used with the glossy white paper for the die-cut letters!

I sure like the idea of using the black card as the second extra cut layer behind the glossy white sentiment. It really does make a shadow effect!

Your card looks lovely and thanks for taking part in the Rudolph Days Challenge.

Eye-catching, upbeat, and all kinds of fun! What a great way to utilize purple in a season where it all too often takes a backseat to colours such as red, green, white, blue, grey, silver and gold.
