Waving Hello

Hello everyone.  I’m back today to share anotter (pun intended 😉) card made with the Otter Variety 2 stamp set from Whimsy Stamps (WS).

This adorable otter was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on alcohol marker friendly cardstock and coloured in with Copic Sketch markers.  The frame from WS Shaker Maker Rectangle was die cut twice next from Bristol paper and stacked for dimension.  Trimmed the otter piece down to the frame size then adhered behind.  Heat embossed the sentiment in black to finish.

So I thought. 😂  I remembered I had the Mermaid 6x6 paper pack.  Initially, the wave pattern paper was going to cover the whole background, but it overpowered this little fella.  I noticed that there was a part of the pattern that seemed to line up with the image.  Used scissors to cut out that pattern, adhered it to the bottom then mounted the framed image to finish… for real this time. 😉

The latest July release is available now.  Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day.

Great job of finding the part of the pattern lining up the image and aligning it to the pattern outside of the frame! You did it so well that I didn't notice it until I read your description!
