Hello there. There’s a mini release out today at Whimsy Stamps (WS) and I am sharing a masculine mini slimline (SL) card featuring the new Born to Fish stamp set. If my dad was still with us, this would have been his Father’s Day card because he loved to fish.
The beautiful background from the gorgeous Glorious Sky SL paper pack was die cut out with the Mini Slim Rounded Stitched Rectangle die. Stamped the images directly onto the paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I liked having the details in the fish and didn’t want the background to show through it, so used C2/3/4 Copic Sketch markers instead of black to colour it.
Layered the panel onto white cardstock then adhered it onto a mnavy blue mini SL card base (3.25”x6.25”). White heat embossed the sentiment from Simple Sentiment Strips onto a navy blue strip, then added highlights with a white gel pen to finish.

Fantastic project, Trina. I love the combination of this wonderful sky with the silhouette of a fisherman and this huge fish jumping out of the water! This card is so special!
