First up is a Mickey and Minnie any occasion card.
Mickey and Minnie were die cut from black cardstock. Layered and dressed them with red, yellow and white papers. Decided Minnie needed flashy shoes, so die cut her shoes from red glitter paper. Coloured the faces with an E30 Copic Sketch marker and the arms with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker. The flower stems were coloured with a G17 Copic Sketch marker.
The sentiment was die cut from white and black to offset for a drop shadow. Ombré ink blended the white letters with Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber and Bronzed Corduroy distress inks (DI). Assembled the card onto a Bristol panel then added ground shading with C00/0/1/3 Copic Sketch markers to finish.
My second card is a colourful birthday card.
Mickey was created as described above. The Mylar Balloons and letters were die cut from Bristol annd X-Press It papers. Ink blended the balloons with red, turquoise, yellow and green dye inks.
The letters and balloon strings were coloured / shaded with a C0 Copic Sketch marker before assembling onto a white card base to finish.
