Spellbindersdies - Say Cheese Classic Mouse

Hello everyone.  The new Say Cheese Classic Mouse collection from Spellbinders (SB) is available today.  I am sharing a couple of fun cards featuring Steamboat Willie Duo, Classic Mouse Alphabet and Classic Mouse Numbers and Punctuation dies from this collection.

First up is this Mickey and Minnie any occasion card.

Mickey and Minnie were die cut from black cardstock and dressed with red, yellow and white due cut layers.  The white face cutouts were colored with an E30 Copic Sketch marker and the white arms were coloured with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker to have them wear white gloves.  Thought Minnie needed flashy shoes, so die cut her shoes from red glitter paper.

The custom sentiment was die cut from white paper and black cardstock to offset for a drop shadow.  Ombré ink blended the white pieces with Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber and Brushed Corduroy distress inks (DI).  Assembled the card onto an A2 Bristol panel then added the ground with C00/0/1/3 Copic Sketch markers.

My second card is a colourful birthday card.

Mickey was created as described above.  The Mylar Balloons were die cut from Bristol paper and ink blended with red, turquoise, yellow and green dye inks.

The letters and strings were die cut from X-Press It paper and coloured/shaded with C0 Copic Sketch marker.  Assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.
