Phamtastic Design: Wild Rose Studio

Hello there. The April challenge at CAS Christmas starts today and this month it’s all about Christmas Songs.

With the world pandemic and physical distancing, I thought this new (and forgotten 🙈) Christmas Hugs stamp from Wild Rose Studios would be a lovely way to keep hugs alive. It’s too bad this company went out of business because they had some of the sweetest and cutest stamps. Anyway, here’s my card.

Very simple steps here. Stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on an X-Press It cardstock panel die cut with an A2 Stitch Rectangle Set 2 die from My Favorite Things. Coloured it with Copics.

Then on black cardstock, white heat embossed the sentiment from My Favorite Things Bitty Holiday Wishes. Added a few clear sparkly sequins to finish,

Wish Big

Hello there! I‘ve been displaced from my home for over a month now, so haven’t done too much crafting lately. But I needed a birthday card for next month. Unfortunately, my crafty friend will receive her card after this post. So I took an older stamp that I’ve used only once from a company that has since closed down (Bunch of Balloons by Wild Rose Studio) and created a clean and simple (CAS) card.

Not much to explain here. I simply stamped the elephant image with Memento black ink in the upper left corner of an X-press It stitched rectangle panel, then coloured and created the scene around it using Copics.

The sentiment from Uniko Birthday Wishes stamp set was black heat embossed with clear glitter embossing powder. Adhered the panel to a white card base then added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the balloons for some shine and dimension to finish.
