Guest Designer for 52 Christmas Card Throwdown February 2026 Colour Challenge - Gold & Black

Hello everyone. I’m excited to be guest designing (GD) at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown (52CCT) for their GOLD & BLACK colour challenge.

One of the designs in the Whimsy Stamps (WS) Champagne slimline paper pack was the starting point for my card. I used a silhouette stamp set and a holy star die (unfortunately, both are discontinued/unavailable) to create this nativity scene.

The pattern paper was trimmed down to 4.25”. Stamped the images with Versafine Onyx Black ink then heat embossed with clear glitter embossing powder. Stamped the sentiment on a A2 size black panel with VersaMark ink next and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Die cut the star from gold glitter paper, then assembled the card onto a black card base to finish.

CAS Christmas April Challenge - Rainbow

Hello everyone! Long time since my last post, but I’m back today with the new challenge at CAS Christmas. This month we’re brightening up the gallery with clean and simple (CAS) Rainbow Christmas cards.

Here’s my super easy CAS card.

The watercolored rainbow background was created with Karin Brush Marker Pro using the wet-on-wet technique on a stitched watercolor panel from my stash. The area was wet first with clean water, then I picked up the colours that were scribbled on a white board and added them in. Splattered it with white gouache paint, then set aside to dry.

Next, Santa’s sleigh from Memory Box Cabin Snowglobe was die cut from Bristol paper several times and stacked for dimension. The sentiment from My Favorite Things (MFT) Itty Bitty Holiday Wishes was then heat embossed with silver embossing powder on a strip of Bristol paper. Assembled the card onto a white card base and added cross details with a white gel pen and clear shimmer to Santa to finish.

Guest Designer for Addicted to CAS Challenge #188 - Emboss

Happy new year everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and Santa was good to you. For my first blog post of the year, I’m excited to be guest designing (GD) at Addicted to CAS (ATCAS) for their challenge #188 - Emboss.

I needed a belated birthday card for a friend. The BB Holiday Penguins stamp set from My Favorite Things (MFT) was sitting out on my desk, so I decided to stretch it to create this.

The penguin was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It cardstock and coloured in with Copic Sketch markers (BG10, BG13, BG49, YR00, YR16, E08, C00, C1, C3, C9), then die cut out with the coordinating die.

The MFT Impact letters were die cut from scraps of X-Press It cardstock and ombre coloured with the same BG markers listed above. Inked them with VersaMark and heat embossed them with clear glitter embossing powder for lots of sparkle. The sentiment from MFT Bitty Birthday Wishes was white heat embossed on a black cardstock strip. Adhered an A2 stitched Bristol panel from my stash onto a white card base and assembled the card to finish.
